Help for Hope

Hope Pregnancy Center, formerly known as Hope for Life, needs our help.  For those who don’t already know, Hope is a crisis pregnancy center in Cheshire, CT whose purpose is to meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of women who are “expecting unexpectedly.”

For the week of October 27th-November 2nd we will be collecting baby items for Hope.  You may bring any used or new baby items to the Chapel.  It would be nice if the items were cleaned ahead of time but don’t let that hold you back from helping; they have volunteers who will clean the items before they are passed on.

Hope has waiting lists for any large baby items like cribs, infant car seats, changing tables, strollers, bassinets, swings and portable cribs.  They also accept diapers from newborn to size 6, wipes, NESTLE Good Start Formula (yes, this specific brand), bath towels and crib sheets.  Right now, they have a specific need for 9-12 month clothes, including onesies and sleepers.  Of course, financial donations are always welcome.

Because of the space needed for AWANA and to avoid weeks of clutter, you may only drop items off between October 27th and November 2nd.  If you cannot make this deadline, don’t worry, we are hoping to do this once or twice a year for Hope Pregnancy Center.  If you have any questions please contact Aimee Clifford 469-6867.
